Aron Stevens (Champion) vs. Scott Steiner

NWA Hard Times Pay Per View January 24: NWA National Championship Match

Stevens started the match by showing off some of his Mongrovian Karatay. Despite the fancy moves, Steiner grabbed Stevens in an arm ringer and yanked Stevens to his knees. With Stevens in the corner, Big Poppa Pump chopped away at the chest of Stevens. Stevens would retreat to the outside on several occasions in order to break up Seiners offense. Fed up with this, Steiner went after Stevens and slammed Aron’s head into the post and steps. Back in the ring, Steiner hit Stevens with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Steiner locked in the Steiner Recliner, but the Question Mark hit Steiner from behind to cause the disqualification. Steiner won the match, but Stevens retains the title due to the disqualification finish.
