Roderick Strong defeats Bronson Reed

NXT February 12

The match kicked off to a hot start as Reed sought payback for last week’s disrespect. A couple minutes into the match, Reed pulled Strong’s shirt over his head.

Later in the match, Reed held Strong up for a 30 second delayed vertical suplex. When Strong rolled to the outside, Reed hit a flying shoulder tackle from the apron to the floor. Reed dropped Strong’s neck across the top rope and followed up with an immediate clothesline.

After a powerslam and a senton, Reed went to the top rope, but Strong stopped him and hit a superplex.

Velveteen Dream didn’t come out, but his music started to come on. Reed came off the top rope, but Strong hit him with a high knee for the pinfall victory.
