Bushi, Shingo Takagi, and Evil defeat Robbie Eagles, Tomohiro Ishii, and Hiroki Goto

NJPW New Beginning February 6: NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Match

With Shingo as the NEVER Singles champion, a lot of the focus from the commentary team had to do with establishing a challenger for Takagi. If any of the Chaos competitors pin Shingo, then they would have a claim to a title match.

Goto and Ishii hit a magic killer on Evil, but Takagi broke up the pinfall. Goto went for the GTR, but Evil countered to hit Darkness Falls.

Eagles hit a springboard dropkick to the legs of Bushi and cinched in the Ron Miller Special (the move that Eagles used to submit Bushi on two other occasions on the tour. Shing Takagi broke up the submission.

Moments later, Eagles would hit a 450 splash on the leg of Bushi and he again put Bushi in the Ron Miller special. Bushi managed to turn the move over and spit green mist in Eagles face. After the mist, Bushi hit the MX for the pinfall victory. The last 5-10 minutes of this match was very good.

After the match, Tour Yano came out and stole the NEVER Openweight Trios Title Belts and Ishii challenged Takagi to a match for the NEVER Openweight Singles Title.
