Cody Rhodes defeats Eddie Kingston: Dynamite July 22
Result: Cody Rhodes defeats Eddie Kingston
Match:
- Eddie Kingston came out talking about how Cody grew up around legends while he grew up around alcoholics and junkies. Everyone Cody has faced so far has been a child. He’s an adult. Tony Kahn paid him to show up and now he’s going to pay him to beat him up.
- Kingston threatened to gouge Arn’s eyes off. I think we’ve seen enough of that this week.
- He wants it to be no DQ, but he needs Cody to confirm. Cody does and Justin Roberts makes the announcement. Kingston then attacks Cody before the bell.
- Eddie Kingston brought thumb tacks and Kingston power bombed him on the tacs.
- Cody got the win by submission using the figure four leg-lock.
