Result: Davey Boy Smith defeats Erick Stevens by pinfall after a diving headbutt.

Match: Smith took Stevens off his feet twice in the early moments of the match. The first knock down came from a shove out of the collar and elbow tie up and the second from a shoulder tackle. Stevens and Smith continued by trading chops and fists until Davey Boy sent Stevens into the turnbuckle with an Irish whip and followed up with a pari of body slam and a legdrop. After a 30 second delayed vertical suplex, Smith achieved a near fall and Stevens rolled to the outside. After following Stevens to the outside, Erick sent Smith into the barricade. When Stevens attempted to hit a vertical suplex, Davey Boy countered and hit a suplex of his own.

Back in the ring, Erick Stevens caught Davey Boy with a dragon screw and continued his offense focusing on the leg. After Stevens hit a flying shoulder tackle from the second rope, Smith kicked out of a pinfall attempt and Stevens cinched in a single leg crab. With both men back on their feet, Stevens and Smith exchanged forearms and fists until Stevens picked the ankle and hit another dragon screw leg whip.

After Stevens went for a series of cradle and rollup attempts, Davey hit a powerslam and then a second running powerslam. Davey Boy Smith secured the pinfall victory with a diving headbutt from the top rope.
