Hiromu Takahashi defeats Toru Yano: June 24th New Japan Cup Event
Result: Hiromu Takahashi defeats Toru Yano
Match
- Hiromu came to the ring wearing a hard hat. This is presumably to prevent Yano from shaving his head.
- As soon as the bell rang, Yano pulled out a pair of hair clippers.
- Action kept spilling to the outside where Yano had scissors stashed everywhere. Seemed dangerous to keep pulling them out.
- After taping Takahashi to Tsuji, Yano managed to cut some of Takahashi’s hair.
- With Tsuji still taped to his ankle, Takahashi taped Yano’s legs together and covered his eyes before tossing him in the elevator.
- Takahashi barely beat the referee’s 20 count to get a count out victory.
