Hiroshi Tanahashi defeats Shingo Takagi
- Updated: January 30, 2021
As is the case with all Tanahashi main events, Hiroshi Tanahashi did hit the high fly flow to the floor.
At the 23 minute mark, Tanahashi put Takagi in the cloverleaf. Takagi appeared to be passing out, but not quite.
Tanahashi let go of the cloverleaf and hit high fly flow. When Tanahashi went for a second high fly flow, Shingo Takagi moved causing Tanahashi to crash and burn.
Takagi hit Made in Japan at 26 minutes, and he dropped Tanahashi right on his head. The highest angle for that move I’ve ever seen. Tanahashi kicked out.
Tanahashi would go for another High Fly Flow on a standing Takagi at 28 minutes, but Takagi blocked and slammed Tana.
Shingo hit Pumping Bomber close to the 31 minute mark, but Tanahashi kicked out.
At 35 minutes, Tanahashi hit Aces High (High Fly Flow on standing opponent) followed by a dragon suplex with a bridge for 2. Tanahashi went to the top and hit high fly flow for the win!
