AEW Dynamite January 22: Winner Gets a Title Shot

Moxley came out with his eye heavily bandaged from the spike Jericho shoved into him last week. Pac focused on the eye patch and took advantage of the injury. During the commercial break, Pac and Moxley fought into the cruise ship crowd. They wrestled back to the ring, and Pac hit a missile dropkick from the top rope. Moxley followed that up with a clothesline. Pac turned the tables again with a modified jaw jacker that Pac directed toward Mox’s eye. Pac missed two Black Arrows and Moxley hit a DDT for a near fall. After a superplex, Pac cinched in the Brutalizer but Moxley managed to get to the ropes. After Pac ripped the bandage off Moxley’s head, Pac began to continuously punch Moxley in the eye until Referee Paul Turner broke it up. Jon Moxley then hit two DDT’s for the pinfall victory.
