Jordan Devlin defeats Tyler Breeze

NXT February 5

The match started during the commercial break. Breeze focused on the knee of Devlin wrapping it around the post twice. Devlin lifted Breeze up as if he would deliver an Atomic Drop, but he came straight down breaking Breeze’s back on his shoulder. After Breeze made a short comeback, Devlin hit a moonsault from the second turnbuckle to the floor. Devlin had the upper hand when the program went to a second commercial break. Breeze hit a series of forearms and kicks earning him a near fall

Tyler Breeze nearly defeated Devlin when he used Devlin’s own momentum off a cross body to float over for a cover. Devlin went for another moonsault, but Breeze put his feet up and followed up with a single leg crab. Devlin eventually got an opportunity to hit Devlin Side, and he got the pinfall victory.

An overall good match with a couple of very exciting sequences.
