Josh Woods and Silas Young defeat The Briscoes
- Updated: January 31, 2020
ROH TV January 17: #1 Contender Match for Tag Team Championship
Mark and Woods start the match with Mark getting the upper hand until Woods out-wrestled him and sent ROH to commercial. Jay Briscoe tagged in and took out both Silas and Woods. Mark Briscoe did a dive over the top rope onto both men. The Briscoes then sent Young and Woods into the barricade.
Back in the ring, the Briscoes went to work on Silas Young. Woods would get back in the ring, and he focused on Isolating Jay Briscoe. Jay hit a dropkick and managed to get a tag to Mark Briscoe. After fighting off both men, Mark hit a fisherman buster and went for an elbow smash from the top, but Woods caught him in a submission. Transitioning to an ankle lock and then a German Suplex, Woods then lost control due to a Briscoe double team.
Woods kicked out of a Redneck Boogie and then fought his way into an overheard belly to belly from the top rope. Lethal and Gresham came out and provided a distraction, so Woods could roll up Mark Briscoe for the victory.
