Keith Lee vs. Dominic Dijakovic
- Updated: February 16, 2020
NXT TakeOver February 16: North American Championship
Keith Lee hit the first ridiculous move when he connected with a hurricanrana. Dijakovic went for a sasuke special, but Lee caught him.Moments later, Dijakovic used a release suplexe on Lee on the apron. Keith Lee has 100% of the crowd support.
Back in the ring, Dijakovic laid in a number of strikes. After Dominic kicked Lee straight in the face, he hit a tornillo moonsault from the top rope. As both men made it back to their feet, they just exchanged strikes until they knocked each other down.
Keith Lee climbed the ropes next, but Dijakovic blocked him and pulled him into a fireman’s carry and hit an avalanche Death Valley driver. After Lee kicked out, Dijakovic lifted Lee into he corner. When Dominic went to splash in the corner, Lee ran out and pounced.
Dijakovic set Lee up in a chair on the floor, climbed back in the ring, and hit a springboard Tope Con Hilo to a chorus of Mauro Ranallo screaming MAMA MIA. Back in the ring, Keith Lee hit a sit-down Death Valley driver and Dijakovic stood right up, so Keith Lee hit him with another one for a near fall.
With Lee perched on the top rope, Dijakovic hit an avalanche Spanish Fly. When Dijakovic couldn’t capitalize, Lee grabbed him and tossed him into the jackhammer for the pinfall victory.
