Adam Cole defeats Kushida

NXT February 12

Action spilled to the outside where Cole tossed Kushida into the ring steps. Back in the ring, Kushida got a top rope chop and wrenched on Cole’s arm.

Back from the break, Kushida hit a handspring back elbow. Kushida wrenched Cole off the top rope into a DDT and a cross arm breaker, but Cole got to the ropes. Cole turned things around with a shining wizard. He followed up moments later with a pair of ushigoroshis for the two count.

Kushida countered the Panama Sunrise into the hoverboard lock and Kushida brought him to the center of the ring. Cole escaped, but Kushida maintained the advantage until Cole super kicked him out of the handspring. After the super kick, Cole hit the ropes and delivered the last shot to Kushida for the pinfall victory.
