• Michael Nakazawa poured oil all over the top turnbuckle before the match. Nakazawa immediately baited Sydal into going for the shooting star. Sydal wiped off the turnbuckle pad first.
• When Sydal climbed back up, Nakazawa sprayed more oil at the turnbuckle causing Sydal to fall off.
• Nakazawa went for the mandible claw, but Sydal evaded and got the submission victory with a crossface.
