Myron Reed defeats Drago
- Updated: February 2, 2020
MLW Fusion February 1: Middleweight Championship
After a series of evasions in the first minute, Drago hit Reed with three kicks and then a splash from the second rope. The splash had no impact on Reed because of the chest protector that Reed wears. Drago lost the advantage when Jordan grabbed Drago’s leg. Drago hit a pair of power bombs to earn a near fall and that brought Oliver into the ring and Drago made short work of them. With the referee’s back turned, Kotto Brazil hit a low blow and Myron followed up with a 450 splash for the pinfall victory.
It should be noted that the referee only counted 2, but then Reed visibly told him it was the finish. . .the referee then counted three without any further offense.
