Mysterio Defeats Garza: Raw March 9

Result: Rey Mysterio defeats Garza

Match: Mysterio used a head scissors take down to set Garza into the turnbuckle. Mysterio attempted to leap frog Garza, but Garza stopped short and super kicked Mysterio in the corner. Garza kicked Rey to the outside and took off his pants as Raw went to commercial. Back from commercial, Garza maintained control of the match with a pop-up knee strike. When Garza went for a 619, Mysterio got up and hit a single legged drop-kick. Mysterio dumped Garza to the outside and then hit a sliding body splash to the floor. Coming back in the ring, Mysterio hit a pair of seated setons.

Garza hit a reverse suplex for a near fall. After hitting a super kick, Garza went for the wing clipper, but Rey fought out. Rey hit a 619 and a springboard splash for the pinfall victory.
