Hiromu Takahashi, Evil, and Shingo Takagi defeat Robbie Eagles, Tomohiro Ishii, and Hiroki Goto
- Updated: February 4, 2020
NJPW Road to New Beginning: Tokyo
Ishii and Evil start the match and they’re striking plus commentary seem to indicate that their match in Sapporo isn’t the end of their program. Chaos took advantage and Ishii tagged in Goto who hit a spinning heel kick on Evil in the corner. Takagi hit Goto as he was running the ropes and LIJ hit the ring giving LIJ the advantage. After a brief moment in the ring, Takahashi tagged Takagi into the match. Shingo went for a suplex, but Goto reversed and got one of his own.
Ishii and Takagi would square off next trading forearms until Ishii hit a powerslam. Shingo would then punch and kick Ishii into the corner. Ishii switched positions and used forearms and elbows on Shingo until he lay on the mat and the referee had to break it up.
Shingo stood up strong from a side suplex and hit Ishii with a clothesline. Takahashi and Eagles tagged into the match and traded forearms with Takahashi getting the upper hand. Eagles hit a leg lariat and sliced bread for a two count. Eagles went for a 450, saw that Hiromu would evade, rolled through and received kicks from Evil and Takahashi. Eagles would maintain control as Goto hit the ring.
Eagles cinched in the same submission move that he beat Bushi with two days in a row. Shingo Takagi broke up the submission. With Takahashi in the corner, Goto and Ishii both hit clotheslines. Eagles would go back to the submission, but Takahashi rolled up Eagles for the victory.
