Robert Roode vs. Roman Reigns

Minutes to Bell Time

Friday Night Smackdown January 17: Tables Match to Choose Stipulation for the Royal Rumble Grudge Match with King Corbin

Robert Roode attacked Roman during his entrance and the referee called for the bell. Reigns cleared off the announce table and he set up a table by the ramp, while Roode tossed a table in the ring. Roman tried to spear Roode through the barricade but Roode moved taking Smackdown to a commercial break. After the break, Roode attempted to superplex Roman through a table previously set up in the ring. Roode and Reigns countered various attempts by each other to end the match. With Roode rolling to the outside, Roman hit a Superman punch on the outside before rolling Roode back in. At this point, Corbin and Ziggler interfered in the match bringing out the Usos. Jimmy and Jay splashed Ziggler through the announce table just prior to Roman spearing Roode through a table for the win.

After the match, Roman Reigns announced the match with King Corbin at Royal Rumble will now be a Falls Count Anywhere Match.
