Minutes to Bell Time

Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan vs. King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler

Minutes to Bell Time

Friday Night Smackdown January 3

Corbin went after Reigns at the bell, but Roman eventually hit a Samoan Drop on Corbin. King Corbin rolled to the outside, but Roman hit Corbin with a drive-by. Both men tagged out to their partners. With Daniel Bryan in the center of the ring, the lights began to flicker and we heard the familiar laugh of the Fiend as Fox went to commercial break. When we came back from break, Roman hit a series of clotheslines on Corbin in the corner. After a distraction from Ziggler, Corbin hit Reigns with the End of Days and Roman kicked out. Ziggler tagged in and spent some time taunting Reigns before hitting a neck breaker and tagging Corbin back in. Corbin sent Reigns into the post three times before Reigns eventually evaded Corbin’s offense to hit a Superman Punch. Both men tagged out and Daniel Bryan started with the upper hand hitting the dropkick and a series of Yes Kicks in the corner. Back in the center of the ring, Bryan hit Ziggler with the Yes Kicks and had Ziggler in the Yes-Lock before Corbin broke it up. Eventually Bryan hit the running knee, but the lights went out and the Fiend was at ringside. Daniel Bryan dove to the outside and posted the Fiend. The Fiend got the Mandible Claw on Daniel Bryan on the outside. With Daniel Bryan incapacitated, The Fiend left. Ziggler and Corbin double teamed Reigns and attempted to pour dog food on Reigns again, but the Uso’s music hit and they made the save. The bell never rang to signify the end of the match, so the Fiend’s interferance leaves us with a No Contest.
