Rush vs. PCO
- Updated: January 24, 2020
ROH Saturday Night at Center Stage January 11: ROH World Championship Match
Both men began with a striking and chap battle. Rush got the early advantage on PCO until PCO kicked Rush out of the ring and connected with a suicide dive. PCO draped Rush on the apron and climbed to the top rope and he missed the flying cannonball (per usual). Rush followed up by slamming PCO into the barricade and the barricade into PCO. Rush diverted his attention to the referee Todd Sinclair allowing PCO to catch him with a chokeslam. As PCO climbed the ropes to hit his PCO-sault, Rush pulled Sinclair into position and PCO hit Sinclair instead. With the referee taken out, Kenny King and Dragon Lee ran down to attack PCO. The interference was short-lived as Villain Enterprises came down to even things up. In all of this, Rush did manage to hit PCO with a chair shot and then connect with a top rope senton. A new referee came down to count the pinfall attempt for Rush, but Rush attacked the second referee when he couldn’t secure the victory. Todd Sinclair called for the bell giving PCO the victory by disqualification.
After the match, Nick Aldis hit the ring and sent Flip Gordan into the post. Le Faccion Ingobernable attacked the remaining members of Villain Enterprises culminating with PCO getting a powerbomb stomp through a table.
