Taguchi got a single leg takedown and stretched Gabriel Kid’s leg. Back on their feet, Kid got a side headlock, Taguchi pushed off, and Kid got a tackle. Gabriel Kid got the advantage for a moment with an elbow drop, but got caught by Taguchi with a hip attack.

Taguchi missed a hip attack and Gabe Kid grabbed him for a powerslam and followed up with a boston crab. After several small package attempts by both men, Gabe Kid escaped an ankle lock. Taguchi hit a BomaYe for a near fall and then an ankle lock for a submission victory.
