Scott defeats Daivari
- Updated: March 13, 2020
Scott defeats Daivari: 205 Live March 6
Result: Scott defeats Daivari by pinfall.
Match: Swerve and Daivari traded fists before Swerve eventually took Daivari down with a head-scissors and dropkick. With Daivari on the mat, Swerve began to stretch Daivari’s arm. Once Ariya escaped the submission, he immediately hit a thrust chop to Swerve’s throat and a draping neck breaker over the top rope. Daivari continued his focus on Swerve’s neck until the match broke down into a slugfest. With Swerve getting the advantage over Daivari, he hit a rolling thunder into a flatliner for a two count. Daivari found an opening for an attempt on his hammerlock lariat, but Swerve evaded and Daivari hit a DDT instead. Swerve evaded the hammerlock lariat again and hit the house call for a near fall. Swerve went on to hit the double stomp from the top rope for the pinfall victory.
