Riho defeats Shoko Nakajima
- Updated: February 11, 2020
AEW Dark – Premier 2/11
Non title match with 20 minute time limit.
The two women exchanged holds for the first few seconds of the match until Shoko got an arm drag and a dropkick. Riho answered with a dropkick of her own, but Shoko came back with another arm drag and a suicide dive.
Back in the ring, Shoko put Riho in a cravat and kneed her twice in the head before sending her into the corner. Shoko hit a back breaker and neck breaker combo for a two count.
Riho caught Shoko running in and rolled her up for a stomp. Riho climbed to the top rope and hit a cross body for a near fall. Riho then attempted a Tiger Feint Kick and then Shoko went for one of her own that Riho evaded. Shoko ended up hitting her with the Tiger Feint Kick between the first and second rope.
Riho countered a guillotine with a northern lights suplex and a bridge for a two count. Riho then got another near fall after a diving foot stomp. They then traded near falls and Nakajima nearly got the pin off a Northern lights bridge. Shoko missed a sent from the top and Riho put her away with a Meteora.
