- Suzuki Gun is represented by Taichi, Zack Sabre Junior, El Desperado, Douki, and Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
- The storyline being told is that Hiroshi Tanahashi has to prove himself as even his own tag team partner has recently told him to be better. At one point in the match, Tanahashi didn’t take the opportunity to make the tag because he wanted to get revenge on Taichi
- Desperado used Pinche Loco on Uemura for the pinfall victory
- At the end of the match, Ibushi left ringside with Tanahashi still down on the mat
