- This match previews the Taichi and Kota Ibushi match scheduled for 7/1. It may also preview a tag title program between Ibushi/Tanahashi and Sabre/Taichi.
- Kota Ibushi ran from the back and immediately attacked his opponents. It’s always interesting when someone uses Suzuki Gun’s tactics against them.
- Suzuki Gun continued their long-term strategy of weakening Tanahashi’s knee.
- Ultimately, Ryuske Taguchi used Dodon to secure the pinfall victory over Douki.
