• Kanemaru used deep impact to defeat Wato, but he did not let the referee make the three count. Instead he pulled Wato up and gave him a brain buster before taking the pin.
• This match also continued the rivalry between Yuji Nagata and Minoru Suzuki as well as the issues between the teams of ZSJ and Taichi and Tanahashi and Ibushi
