Tanahashi, Ibushi, Wato defeat Taichi, ZSJ, Kanemaru: New Japan August 27
Result: Tanahashi, Ibushi, Wato defeat Taichi, ZSJ, Kanemaru
Match:
- Kanemaru ran out and attacked Wato during entrances. Sabre and Taichi followed. No surprises here as this is the common Suzuki Gun tactic.
- Part way through the match, Taichi and Sabre attempted to hit Tanahashi with the dragon screw leg whip where Taichi holds Tanahashi in position. Ibushi broke it up, and Ibushi and Tanahashi executed the move on Sabre. Zack continued to sell the dragon screw even after the match.
- Unfortunately for Kanemaru, the match ended with him receiving a Kame Goye and high fly flow. Tanahashi pinned Kanemaru to finish the match.
