Ace Austin defeats Tommy Dreamer

Impact Wrestling

Impact Wrestling February 4: Street Fight

Dreamer evaded the sharpened card and backdropped Austin to the outside. With Austin on the outside, Dreamer hit a suplex on the ramp and then ran off to get a garbage can full of weapons. Using a crutch as a weapon with a sombrero on his head, Dreamer fought Ace into the 100 level of the arena.

After the break, the two competitors were still in the stands. Austin caught Dreamer with a high kick and the Austin hit a cross body from the 100 level to the floor. Dreamer evaded about 6 kicks and then wrapped Ace’s wrist in a chair so he could hit it with another one.

With Dreamer going for a DDT on the chair, Ace swiped the legs and dreamer fell on the chair. Ace grabbed his sharpened card and shoved it into the forehead of Tommy Dreamer. Austin next hit the bloodied dreamer over the back with a chair twice.

Ace went to the outside and shoved a table into the ring, but Dreamer kicked a chair into Austin’s head before the table could be used. Ace missed a roundhouse kick and Dreamer nailed a cutter. With a table in one corner and a chair in the other, Austin picked up a kendo stick and struck Dreamer with it four times before Dreamer countered with a side Russian leg whip.

Austin went for another slice with his card, but Dreamer grabbed him between the legs and stole the card away. Dreamer then tossed Austin into the chair and then nailed a running powerslam through the table. Tommy found a ladder and brought that into the ring, but Ace used a backstabber before the ladder came into play.

Somehow Ace produced a baton and nailed Tommy with it before hitting the fold for the pinfall victory. The match ended up a lot better than expected.
