Tyler Bate vs. Joseph Connors
- Updated: February 20, 2020
NXT UK – February 20
Bate and Connors went back and forth until Connors shoved Bate off the turnbuckle to the floor. Back in the ring, Connors hit a clothesline and a back elbow for a near fall.
Bate caught Connors running into the corner and hit a suplex and a shooting star press for a two count. When Bate failed to hit the Tyler Driver, Connors took advantage, but missed a second rope moonsault. Connors would hit a suicide dive and a slingshot flatliner for another near fall.
On the outside, Connors hit a drop toe hold onto a chair and shoved Bate back in the ring, but couldn’t secure the pinfall. Bate managed to evade Connor’s offense, hit the rebound and then the Tyler driver ’97 to secure the victory.
