Is Curt Stallion getting the character and push that Triple H and NXT had in mind for Hangman way back when?
August Grey wearing a Dusty shirt and a polka dot knee pad to honour Dusty Rhodes during this match.
Killian Dain really should have listened to the whole thing because the theme is just a heavy metal remix of the previous theme.
Took them long enough to mention Drake Maverick’s history with the 205 Live brand.
Curt Stallion is getting a little annoyed at the dancing from Drake every time he gets the advantage but Drake continues to counter Curt.
August Grey tags in wanting Drake to be serious saying he is ready and Drake takes a second to tag in Killian Dain which quieted Grey down a little.
Grey and Stallion are not having much luck having an impact on Dain.
Great spot with Maverick trying to tell Dain to dive over the top on Stallion and Grey but he just throws Maverick on them instead.
Dain just making Stallion and Grey look like jobbers on their own brand. Always a nice way to book a match and talent.
Really love how Maverick set up Stallion for the neck breaker by rolling him over to create the momentum needed to get Stallion on his feet.
Great work at improving the change after Stallion couldn’t keep Dain in the bridging pin after the suplex.
Maverick gets the pinfall on Stallion after Dain powerbombed Drake on to Stallion.
