Zack Sabre Junior defeats Will Ospreay

New Beginning February 2: British Heavyweight Championship

Very much a Zack Sabre match for the first eight minutes of the match, but Sabre tried rolling to the outside and Osprey went over the top to hit a cross body to the floor. Back in the ring, the match went back to a technical submission style match. Every time Osprey went for one of his moves (shooting star, pip pip cheerio, etc.), Sabre countered into a submission.

At the 15 minute mark, Osprey locked in a figure four leg lock that Zack got out of with a rope break. The legs became the target of Osprey’s attack, and he now hit a shooting star followed by pip pip cheerio.

Zack would hit three PK’s for a near fall. Osprey hit an Os-Cutter and Sabre rolled right out of the ring to prevent Osprey from getting a pinfall. With Sabre on the outside, Osprey hit the Sasuke Special and rolled Sabre back into the ring.

Sabre managed to evade the Hidden Blade from Osprey, and then Sabre locked in a submission and very nearly got the win. At the 25 minute mark, Osprey would hit a shooting star press for another near fall.

Zack Sabre Junior locked in a submission and Osprey became unresponsive. Red Shoes stopped the match and Sabre retained the title.
