Evil defeats Sanada: New Japan Cup July 3

Result: Evil defeats Sanada

Match

  • They shook hands at the beginning of the match, but the pleasantries only lasted about half a second.
  • There was a scary spot 15 minutes in where Sanada attempted to run up the ropes and flip over. Sanada landed right on the top of his head.
  • You wouldn’t know that these two guys are tag team partners. When the referee went down, Evil hit Sanada with a low blow. Evil then wrapped a chair around Sanada’s head just to swing at him with another chair. Evil followed up with another low blow.
  • Evil finished the match off with Everything is Evil for the pinfall victory.
  • This victory puts Evil in the finals to face the winner of the Hiromu Takahashi and Kazuchika Okada match.
