Jacob Fatu defeats Cima – MLW Heavyweight Championship: MLW Fusion March 7

Result: Jacob Fatu defeats Cima

Match:

The match begins with a collar and elbow tie up that ended with a clean break in the corner. After several strikes, Cima attempted a pair of shoulder tackles that had no impact on Fatu. Cima made Fatu chase him in and out of the ring until finally Cima caught Fatu with a low dropkick as Fatu attempted to roll into the ring.

Fatu managed to create some space, hit a thrust kick, and a hip attack in the corner. Fatu then dominated the next couple of minutes including slamming Cima face first into the announce table. When Fatu missed a Vader Bomb, he took advantage with a meteora and a DDT before tying Fatu up in a submission. Cima went for a top rope double stomp, but Fatu moved, he hit a pop-up Samoan drop and two moonsaults for the pinfall victory.
