Match

Pete Dunne comes on the screen to introduce his substitute. Matt Riddle’s mystery substitute partner is revealed as Timothy Thatcher.

Riddle started with Bobby Fish, but NXT went to commercial. When we return from commercial, Thatcher got in the match with Strong and went to work stretching with a series of submissions. Thatcher and Riddle hit tandem gut wrench suplexes on the undisputed era.

As the Undisputed Era isolated Matt Riddle, Dexter Lumis was shown staring at the ring. NXT went to commercial soon afterward and the Undisputed Era maintained control through the entire break. Eventually Riddle hit a fisherman buster and got the tag to Thatcher. Timothy Thatcher hit the Undisputed Era with a series of suplexes and strikes.

Thatcher used the fujiwara arm bar to retain the tag team titles.
