Match

Action immediately spilled to the outside where Dream tossed Cole into the stairs. Back in the ring, Dream hit a big spine buster for a near fall. Dream continued to dominate the match until he missed a top rope move. Cole hit a pump kick and a backstabber for a near fall of his own. After Cole hit an ushigoroshi, the match seemed to slow down a bit for the first time.

The Undisputed Era came out, but Dexter Lumis appeared from under the ring. The referee got knocked down, the Velveteen Dream hit the purple rain maker, but the referee was down. Dream jumped to the outside and when he came back on, Adam Cole used the last shot to retain the NXT championship.
