Match

Gargano attempted to strike the legs of Dijakovic, but Dominic grabbed the foot of Gargano and punched him in the mouth. Dijakovic started to use his power and size advantage to land heavy strikes and throws. Gargano went back for the knee of Dijakovic, and he succeeded in chopping him down to the mat.

Dominik Dijakovic had things under control when Candice LeRae made her way to the ringside area. LeRae provided a distraction allowing Gargano to dump Dijakovic to the outside. Gargano hit a suicide dive as NXT went to commercial

Back from the commercial, Gargano and Dijakovic traded blows until Dijakovic knocked Gargano down with a cyclone kick. Gargano evaded Feast Your Eyes and super kicked Dijakovic for a near fall. Candice LeRae distracted the referee, so Gargano attempted to remove the top turnbuckle pad. The referee stopped Gargano and Dijakovic connected with a sit down choke slam for a near fall.

Dijakovic hit Gargano with a series of elbows in the corner. Gargano finally removed the turnbuckle pad, and he used a hurricanrana to send Dijakovic into the turnbuckle. With Dijakovic attempting to recover, Gargano used his slingshot DDT to secure the pinfall victory.
