Miz Reads The Nightmare Before TLC

• As Miz reads, spotlights are placed on AJ Styles and Morrison dressed as William Wallace from Braveheart. He’s of course supposed to be Drew McIntyre.
• The story tells how AJ will win the title, but if AJ doesn’t win, Miz will cash in.
• Sheamus eventually comes out and got in AJ’s face. AJ threw a Christmas tree in AJ’s face and Sheamus threw a present at AJ.

AJ Styles defeats Sheamus – 15:50

• Styles knocked Sheamus off the ropes and hopped on top of him for the pin.

Post Match

• AJ was running his mouth, so Sheamus tried to shut him up. Omos tied him up in the ropes and gave AJ a chair to use on Sheamus. AJ did use the chair several times.

Hurt Business Picks on a Guy from the Crew

• The guy was eating bronuts, and they pour milk over his head.
• Sarah comes by to ask MVP about his match with Riddle. MVP says he’ll be teaching Riddle about respect.

Riddle with New Day and Jeff Hardy

• Riddle suggests that he accompany New Day and Hardy to the ring. Since everyone misses Big E, he can be Bro-E. They agree to the proposal. Hardy gives the green light to the “Hardy Bros.”

The Hurt Business defeats The New Day and Jeff Hardy – 15:52

• Bobby Lashley got the submission victory using the Hurt Lock.

Lana and Asuka Backstage

• Lana is confident about their chances at TLC, but she’s scared of Nia Jax.
• Asuka pumps up Lana for the match.

Lana defeats Nia Jax – 01:44

• Nia Jax stood on the second rope, and Lana kicked Jax in the knee causing Jax to fall off the ropes. Lana used a double stomp and then surprised Jax with a pin.

Post Match

• Baszler jumped Asuka in the back and then went to the ring where Baszler and Jax tortured Lana.
• Jax and Baszler focus on Lana’s arm first and then her leg twisting and jumping on both.
• Eventually Asuka recovered and made the save.

Elias Promo

• Elias says a normal man would not have recovered from getting electrocuted. Ryker is in the ring, and he has been reborn by Elias’ music. Ryker will stop people from attacking Elias.
• Elias dedicates the performance to Lana, but R-Truth came in the ring. He’s sorry because he doesn’t see himself as an interrupter.
• The locker room empties to chase after R-Truth, which ultimately interrupts Elias.

Miz and Morrison Talk Backstage

• Keith Lee comes by with a coin, which he flips. Miz and Morrison both call heads, which apparently means they will both face Lee in a handicap match.

Miz and Morrison defeat Keith Lee – 09:59

• Miz used a chopblock and both Miz and Morrison piled on top of Keith Lee for the pinfall victory.

Bray Wyatt Comes to the Ring

• Bray apologizes to Randy Orton about last week.
• Wyatt has prepared some hisssterical jokes.
• Orton interrupts Bray Wyatt. Randy invites Bray to come find him. They’ll play hide and seek. Bray can’t resist a game, so he accepts.

Mace defeats Ricochet – 02:56

• Ali was at the commentary desk during the match. They make reference to Mace being Dio Maddden because they say that Samoa Joe is sitting in Mace’s seat.
• Mace used a spinning air raid crash for the pinfall victory.

Post Match

• Retribution held Ricochet, so Ali could scream “This doesn’t end until Ricochet joins Retribution”

Matt Riddle Talks with Bray Wyatt and Ramblin Rabbit

Tom Phillips Announces Lana Can’t Compete on Sunday

Dana Brooke defeats Shayna Baszler – 01:29

• Nia Jax pushed Dana Brooke off the ropes drawing the disqualification.

Post Match

• Nia and Shayna were about to give Dana the Lana treatment when Mandy Rose and then Ask made the save.

R-Truth Discusses Serving Time with Huskus the Pig

• R-Truth thinks Bray is Huskus’ father.

Bray Wyatt Enters a Room with a Rocking Chair in the Middle

• Bray takes a seat and Randy attacks. Orton traps Wyatt in a container. Orton then sets the container on fire.
• The Fiend busts out of the burning container and attacks Orton.

Riddle defeats MVP – 00:48

• Riddle hit the floating bro for the pinfall victory.

WWE Championship Ascension Ceremony

• Styles talks about how long it took McIntyre to win the WWE Championship. Styles says Drew is making mistakes.
• Drew says that he’s always wanted this match. McIntyre also talks about being the champion that led WWE through uncharted waters this year.
• AJ says, OK it sounds like you have this all figured out. But what if its not just me you’re facing this Sunday.
• Miz and Morrison attack. Drew clears the ring of everyone, but Olmos distracts Drew long enough to allow AJ to hit the Phenomenal forearm.
• AJ continued to beat down Drew with ladders and chairs to close the show.
