(1) Charlie Dempsey defeats Joe Coffey…Dempsey locks in a Dragon Sleeper & the ref calls for the stoppage & the submission win as Coffey goes limp (12:31).
*Sid Scala in his office, congratulates Mustache Mountain on their NXT UK Tag Title win…announces that on the first show of 2022, Symbiosis will face Ashton Smith & Oliver Cater…the following week Die Familie face Jack Starz & Dave Mastiff…the two winners will fight to be Mustache Mountain’s first tag title defense.
*Jordan Devlin American Psycho-esque vignette…the “little people” adore him…says Ilja Dragonov is pathetic because he needs their love & approval…all Devlin needs is himself.
*Mustache Mountain to the ring to continue their celebration…Seven mentions he doesn’t know how much longer he’s got left & what he’ll do if they lose the tag titles…but he’ll keep on fighting as long as they hold those titles…their the 1st team to hold the NXT & NXT UK tag titles…& Bate is the 1st ever Grand Slam Champion…they thank the fans & the roster & wish everyone happy holidays.
*Ashton Smith & Oliver Carter backstage…now is their time!
*Blair Davenport & Meiko Satomura video package…they’re on a collision course…in 3 weeks.
(2) Kenny Williams defeats Danny Jones…Kenny tells Jones to leave the ring & go find him the man he really wants, Mark Andrews…when Jones refuses to leave, Kenny agrees to do things “the hard way” & the match begins…Kenny hits Bad Luck, then to keep his “hard way” promise, drags Jones to his feet & delivers Bad Luck again for the win (03:50).
*Symbiosis vignette…they will return, leading the pack.
(3) A-Kid defeats Nathan Frazer…in a Heritage Cup Championship #1 Contender’s Match…
Round 1: no falls.
Round 2: Frazer & A-Kid trade rolling, pinning combos & after a 3rd reversal, Frazer holds on to both legs & gets the 3-count to take the 1st fall (01:48 of Rd. 2).
Round 3: no falls…A-Kid ends the round with the Fujiwara Armbar in deep but Frazer is saved by the bell.
Round 4: A-Kid hits a leaping Superkick to take the 2nd fall (01:50 of Rd. 4).
Round 5: A-Kid locks in an Omoplata with his left leg & completes an armbar with his right leg to stretch Frazer to the point that he has no choice but to give a verbal submission, giving A-Kid the 3rd fall & the 2-1 win (02:31 of Rd. 5 — 14:18 overall)…AFTER…A-Kid offers a respectful handshake & Frazer accepts the show of sportsmanship.
