December 5th NXT WarGames

(1)  WOMEN’S WAR GAMES:  Io Shirai, Raquel Gonzalez, Cora Jade, & Kay Lee Ray defeat Toxic Attraction & Dakota Kai…Kay Lee Ray & her baseball bat start the match against Dakota & her kendo stick…Cora Jade & her skateboard give KLR the advantage…Gigi Dolan evens things up & brings a garage can & duffle bag with her…Io Shirai is next & brings chairs & another garbage can…Jacy Jayne is next & she brings a table along with her…Cora Jade puts Jacy through a table with a diving senton from the top of the cage & appears to have badly injured her shoulder, but no worries, Io pops it back in…Raquel brings more garbage cans, chairs, Dakota’s shovel, & a fire extinguisher…Mandy enters & WAR GAMES BEGINS…Raquel delivers a Chingona Bomb to Mandy…Cora Jade covers Mandy for the win (31:23).

*Tiffany Stratton vignette…her daddy said she can be anything she wants…she’s rich, bitch!

*Briggs & Jensen vignette…their dad’s made them men.

*Boa vignette…Mei Ying passed on her strength & spirit…but he can’t control it.

(2)  Imperium defeat Kyle O’Reilly & Von Wagner…retain their NXT Tag Team Championship…O’Reilly locks in a triangle choke on Aichner, but Aichner powers O’Reilly up & backs into his own corner for a blind tag…Barthel delivers the Imperial Bomb & covers O’Reilly for the win (14:55)…AFTER…as the fans give a “Thank you, Kyle” chant, Wagner takes a swipe at O’Reilly…Kyle ducks it & drops Wagner with a series of quick strikes.

*Ikemen Jiro vignette…he has lots of jackets.

*Santos Escobar vignette…no one can touch him…LATER…Legado is backstage with McKenzie…Santos is ready for his match with Xyon Quinn this Tuesday.

(3)  Cameron Grimes defeats Duke Hudson…in a HAIR VS. HAIR MATCH…Hudson attempts a Razor’s Edge…Grimes escapes & sends Hudson face first into the turnbuckle & rolls him up for the win (10:25)…AFTER…Hudson tries to run, then tries to put Grimes into the Barber’s chair…Grimes hits a Cave-In & put Hudson in the chair & gets to work with the clippers…Hudson is appalled by the partial shave job but it will grow back in 2 weeks, so what was the point?

*Grizzled Young Veterans video package…replay of the “steal cell phones & order food” bit.

*Kacy & Kayden video package…they like music festivals.

*Draco Anthony vignette…not what NXT wants, but what NXT needs (all these video packages are repeats).

*NEW YEAR’S EVIL…coming Tuesday, January 4th.

(4)  Roderick Strong defeats Joe Gacy…retains his Cruiserweight Championship…End of Heartache backbreaker for the win (08:25).

*Kyle O’Reilly backstage with McKenzie…he saw that turn by Von Wagner coming…Tuesday he wants him inside a steel cage!

(5)  MEN’S WAR GAMES:  Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller, & Tony D’Angelo defeat Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne, & LA Knight…Carmelo Hayes starts against Johnny Gargano…Waller gives 2.0 the advantage…Trick Williams tosses a chair into the cage…Pete Dunne evens the odds…Tony D’Angelo is next for 2.0 & he’s bringing tables & other assorted plunder with the help of Trick…Dexter Lumis emerges from under the ring & runs Trick off…D’Angelo padlocks the cage door shut…LA Knight is next, but has to scale the cage to get in…the refs find bolt cutters, but it takes Bron Breakker to snap the lock when it’s his turn to enter…Ciampa is the last man in & WAR GAMES BEGINS…Ciampa attempts the Fairytale Ending on Carmelo but Breakker spears him through a table propped in the corner…Breakker follows with the Gorilla Press Powerslam on Ciampa for the win (38:12).
