NXT Results
Check below for the December 9th NXT Results. The show begins at 8 PM Eastern, but results will go up on delay due to multiple shows occurring at the same time.
Show Opens with Balor in the Ring
- The time for team sports is over.
- Some people hate him and some people love him, but if you want to know him then you need to come to the ring.
- Pete Dunne comes out. Dunne says we’re cut from the same cloth, but its only a matter of time before Dunne puts Balor back on the shelf and takes the NXT Championship.
- Kyle O’Reilly comes out next. O’Reilly says technically you won the match, but you spent the last 3 months eating out of a straw.
- Damian Priest comes out. No offense to Pete and Kyle, but Finn v. Priest is a marquee match. Pete Dunne says, “Aren’t you the guy who couldn’t beat Leon Ruff?”
- The thee of them argue and Finn slips out of the ring.
- Finn says he’ll defend the title on January 6th, but who he defends it against is not his problem. That’s Regal’s job.
- Before Balor can leave, Karrion Kross’ music comes on. Scarlett comes out and circles Finn. Balor told Scarlett to “tell her boy when he’s ready, I’m ready.”
- Priest tells Scarlett to tell Kross that if Karrion Kross wants a fight, then he just needs to step to Damian Priest.
Pete Dunne Backstage
- Killian Dain attacks Dunne and the officials pull them apart.
Jake Atlas defeats Isaiah Swerve Scott – 04:28
- Swerve attempted to roll up Atlas, but Atlas shifted his weight and cradled Swerve for the pinfall victory.
Ciampa Promo
- Ciampa says Cameron Grimes is the squeaky wheel in the shed.
Grizzled Young Veterans defeats Imperium and Ever Rise – 07:08
- Grizzled Young Veterans use Ticket to Mayhem to pin Chase Parker.
Recap of War Games
- Competitors comment on the brutality.
Backstage with Toni Storm
- Toni says Ember was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Storm is ticked that Ember stole her thunder.
- Io Shirai comes by and says, “Toni, I don’t have a problem with you. I just don’t like you” . . . and Io attacks.
- The brawl continued to ringside. Toni escaped, but Ember Moon hit her from behind and sent Storm back in the ring. Shirai hit the moonsault to end the segment.
Tommaso Ciampa defeats Cameron Grimes – 10:53
- Timothy Thatcher brought a chair to the ringside area and took a seat to watch the match.
- Tyler Rust ran to the ring and jumped up on the apron. Ciampa got distracted, but ultimately hit Willow’s Bell for the pinfall victory.
Post Match
- Ciampa and Thatcher lock eyes after the match. Thatcher says he had nothing to do with Tyler Rust.
- Cameron Grimes tried to pick a fight with Thatcher, but Thatcher quickly snatched his leg and twisted it in a very unnatural way.
Raquel Gonzalez Backstage
- Dakota is at home injured. Ember will regret coming back to NXT
Xia Li and Boa
- They’re undergo some brutal training. Lots of blood and kendo sticks.
Gargano Segment
- Indi Hartwell, Austin Theory, Candice LeRae, and Johnny Gargano are now collectively known as The Way.
- Gargano presents Candice with a trophy. It has Shotzi’s head on it.
- “If you’re not in the way, stay out of our way.”
- Damian Priest comes out. He congrats Gargano on winning and Theory for his big reveal. As Priest heads to the ring, Karrion Kross attacks Priest and power bombs Priest off the stage.
- Kross then leaves.
Backstage with Tyler Rust
- Before Rust can speak, Malcom Bivens walks up to talk to Rust.
Pete Dunne defeats Killian Dain – 13:43
- Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch came to the ring, but Drake Maverick chased them off with a chair.
- Maverick turned back toward the ring and Burch and Lorcan hit him from behind. Killian Dain got distracted and Pete Dunne hit the bitter end for the pinfall victory.
Leon Ruff Backstage
- The question is whether Priest will be ready for their tag match with Austin Theory and Johnny Gargano.
- Gargano and Theory come by to Priest will definitely not be ready.
- Kushida volunteers to take Priest’s place.
Raquel Gonzalez defeats Ember Moon – 12:33
- Raquel hit the single arm powerbomb for the pinfall victory.
Post Match
- Toni Storm came to the ring to get some revenge on Ember Moon, but Rhea Ripley made the save.
- Raquel moved Toni out of the way leading to a Rhea and Raquel staredown to close the show.
NXT Preview
