Dragon Gate and MLW Form Strategic Alliance

The Gate to the Americas has Opened
Major League Wrestling and Dragon Gate Pro Wrestling of Japan announced a strategic alliance today. While details appear sparse, the partnership conceptually allows for sharing of content and talent.
“The collaboration between MLW and Dragon Gate is a very special opportunity to produce unique events, showcase spectacular talent and create a new canvas for Japanese and American cooperation. We are ecstatic about this partnership.” – Court Bauer (CEO and Founder of MLW
A partnership video aired during the MLW Fightland TV Taping in South Philadelphia on February 1. Dragon Gate is considered to have a cutting edge style not seen in mainstream promotions until years later.
