February 10, 2022 – Impact Wrestling

*Emanating from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

(BTI) Lady Frost defeats Alisha Edwards…Frost hits the Temperature Drop moonsault for the win (06:05)…AFTER…Gisele Shaw makes her way to the ring to play to the fans & completely ignores Lady Frost.

*Josh Alexander to the ring…he will stand with Team Impact against Honor No More…but he’s also still has his eye on the World Championship…whoever comes out of No Surrender as champion, Josh is next, no more waiting…Big Kon (fka Konnor of the Ascension) to the ring…Josh doesn’t even let him speak, demands a ref & starts the match…

(1)  Josh Alexander defeats Big Kon…Ankle Lock for the win (00:37)…AFTER…Alexander won’t release the ankle lock…fights off security…Scott D’Amore tries to calm Josh down & gets tossed to the ground…Scott grabs a mic to remind Josh of his beginnings in Impact…Josh wants Scott to get out of his way & book his World Championship rematch…Scott pulls Josh from No Surrender & sends him home.

*Steve Maclin approaches Scott backstage, offers to replace Josh on Team Impact…Scott plans to let the members of Team Impact pick Josh’s replacement.

(2)  Deonna Purrazzo defeats Santana Garrett…retains her ROH Women’s Championship…after Garrett fights out of the Fujiwara armbar, Deonna transitions into a back-bridging Roll Up for the win (10:42).

*Scott backstage with Eddie Edwards, Chris Sabin, Rhino, & Rich Swann…they suggest Jonathan Gresham as Josh’s replacement…Scott is OK with it if Gresham is.

(3)  Chelsea Green defeats Mickie James by DQ…Tasha Steelz joins commentary…when Chelsea reverses out of Mickie’s DDT into a cutter, Tasha takes offense to the use of “her move” & tosses a garbage can into the ring…Chelsea & Tasha argue on the apron’s edge…Savannah Evans knocks Chelsea’s legs out from under her, causing the DQ (03:57).

*Bhupinder Gujjar backstage with Gia…Raj Singh interrupts…Gujjar walks away.

*The IInpiration approach Kaleb backstage…they get him to snap some pictures of them with the new phone they got for him…Madison Rayne walks in on this scene & is not pleased.

*Bullet Club to the ring…Tanga Loa says GOD are your future Impact tag team champions…Violent By Design interrupt, Eric Young tells Jay White that Impact doesn’t belong to him…EY proposes a 6-man tag next week, White counters with “how about right now”…Good Brothers interrupt, looking for the “thank you” they deserve…Tama Tonga thanks them for leaving NJPW.

*Jonathan Gresham has apparently been attacked backstage & found out cold.

*Matt Cardona approached backstage by Gia…Matt feels he was cheated out of his World title opportunity, so he decided to do things differently because he HAD TO HAVE the Digital Media Championship…he’s ready for Jordynne’s rematch at No Surrender.

(4)  Matt Taven & Mike Bennett defeat Rhino & Rich Swann…after Maria Kanellis hits Rhino with Fuji Dust, Taven delivers The Climax for the win (09:47)…AFTER…Steve Maclin down…takes out Taven…chases Bennett back into the ring where Rhino cuts him in half with a GORE!!

*Maclin makes his case backstage to Eddie Edwards…Eddie’s still not sold but Chris Sabin doesn’t think they can afford to turn him down.

*Gisele Shaw backstage with Gia…if Lady Frost didn’t like Gisele’s actions earlier, she can meet her in the ring next week.

(5)  W. Morrissey defeats Brian Myers…in a NO DQ MATCH…this is basically a 3-on-1 handicap match as VSK & Zicky Dice are involved before the opening bell even rings…Myers duct tapes Morrissey to the bottom rope & beats on him with a kendo stick…Morrissey hits the BQE powerbomb on Myers…crowd begs “one more time”…Morrissey retrieves a bag of thumbtacks & obliges with two more BQEs on Myers into the tacks for the win (15:57)…AFTER…Moose attacks immediately, chokes Morrissey with a chair…hangs one chair around Morrissey’s neck & slams it with another as the show ends.
