Impact Results
*Emanating from Las Vegas, NV.
(1) Time Machine def. The Design (Deaner/Kon/Angels)…Kushida gets Angels to tap to the Hoverboard Lock after Sabin kicks Angels’ hand away from a ropebreak & Time Machine gets the submission win (20:06).
*The Coven promo…the Wilde Witch says Rosemary didn’t respect her magic, but the proof is in the results as now the Coven are champions.
*Raj Singh & Shera have been living it up with “Champagne Singh’s” winnings in Sin City.
*Eddie Edwards & Kenny King haven’t spoken much since the break up of Honor No More…but their hatred for PCO has brought them back together.
(2) Deonna Purrazzo def. Savannah Evans…Deonna avoids interference from Gisele Shaw on one side of the ring & Jai Vidal on the other, then ducks a clothesline from Evans & counters into a Crucifix Bomb for the win (14:25)…AFTER…Shaw & Evans gang up on Deonna & the segment ends with Deonna suffering a Full Nelson Slam & the Dénouement knee strike to soften her up for tomorrow night at Sacrifice.
*Death Dollz are pissed off over losing their titles…Jessicka heads off to find The Coven & Taya Valkyrie follows…Jessicka finds a coffin in a dark corner backstage…when she opens it, she sees a bright light…Taya catches up & tells Jessicka not to look into the light…a hand comes out of the coffin & pulls Taya in (presumably all the way to Jacksonville)…a terrified Jessicka runs back in the direction of Rosemary.
(3) Bully Ray & Masha Slamovich def. Tommy Dreamer & Mickie James…in a MIXED TAG MATCH…Tommy & Mickie bring a table into the ring & as the ref pushes it back out (this isn’t a hardcore match) Bully delivers a low blow uppercut & follows with a Piledriver for the win (09:58)…AFTER…Bully & Masha set up the table & Bully prepares to put Mickie through it…Jordynne Grace races down & stops Bully with a shot from a kendo stick (she wants Mickie healthy for Sacrifice)…Bully just seems annoyed by the shot to the back…so Grace attempts a spear, which Bully sidesteps & Grace accidentally nails Mickie.
*Rich Swann & Frankie Kazarian chatting backstage…Maclin got in Swann’s head by telling him last week that Josh sees Swann as a “non-threat”…Kaz tells Swann to go find Josh & clear the air so they can work like a team at Sacrifice…Swann finds Steve Maclin in Josh’s dressing room & they have another unpleasant exchange.
(4) Moose & Brian Myers def. Joe Hendry & Dirty Dango…Moose spears Hendry & turns him over to Myers, who delivers the Roster Cut for the win (14:06).
*Josh Alexander finds Rich Swann in his dressing room…Swann tells him about Maclin going through his bag earlier…Josh says he’s headed to the ring to work all this out, as we go to break.
*Josh Alexander to the ring…says he respects Maclin as a wrestler & even more as a combat veteran…but Josh loses respect for him when he runs his mouth & says Josh is ducking him…it finally happens at Rebellion…Josh says Maclin is afraid of failing, being a soldier with no mission…a “forgotten son”…Steve Maclin out…agrees he’s afraid of failure, but it’s because he’s become obsessed with that world title…& he’s been doing his homework (plays footage on the ‘tron of himself watching Josh’s matches from behind the curtain)…Josh says if that’s true, why wait…let’s do it right now in Vegas…Maclin says he’s rather do it in Josh’s home town, at Rebellion.
