IWA Relentless Under Pressure

“IWA Relentless Under Pressure” comes from Contributor “Alcoholic” Adam Pokrajac. Pokrajac routinely provides the cold hard truth on Australian Wrestling with a heavy focus on New South Wales. He believes this is the most under appreciated wrestling scene in the world today and he reviews it with a beer in his hand.

Head Hunter Rig v Jude “The Dude” London

  • Jude is still chasing his first win in IWA win and clearly doesn’t want to make it easy for himself.
  • Jude is looking to make a statement challenging the former Transman champion Head Hunter Rig who is still going to be pissed off after losing his title and would definitely want to get an opportunity to regain it.

Adam’s Prediction: Unfortunately for Jude, Rig will take out his frustrations on Jude bringing a different level of intensity. Rig gets the win.

Dazza & Jimmy Townsend v Sam Osborne & Will Kiedis

  • This is a follow up from the last show where Kiedis and Osborne used the number games to take the advantage giving Kiedis a win.
  • This time, we see what Osbourne & Kiedis can do in an even contest.

Adam’s Prediction: Osborne & Kiedis win because they have a lot more natural chemistry operating as a team since September of 2019.

Tree Hugger Luchi (C) Trans Tasman Champion

As seen in a promo, Luchi was happy to face anyone, so it seems we have open challenge.

Some Potential Opponents:

  • Adam Abbas hasn’t been heard of or seen for a long time, so it would be the ultimate surprise if he was to return.
  • Jackson Kelly would be the perfect choice after returning recently with IWA’s summer tour and some would argue the best Transman champion.
  • Jessica Troy would also be good choice as one of the top wrestlers plus she has had great matches with Tree Hugger Luchi.

Charli Evans v Kingsley

  • In this match, it would be safe to say the winner could be the number contender for the Transman Championship.
  • Charli had a dominat display over Cherry Stephens last time she wrestled for IWA.
  • On the other hand, Kingsley racked up wins during the summer tour.

Adam’s Prediction: Both women have a ton of momentum going into this, but Charli just edges due to her superior technical ability. Again this is coin flip, so I wouldn’t be surprised either way.

Matty Wahlberg v Cowboy Chris Abbot (C) IWA Heavyweight Championship

  • This was going to be Randal but a mystery attacker has put Randal out of action.
  • IWA management has determined that Wahlberg will face Chris Abbot.
  • Abbot seems to have Wahlberg’s number with successful title defenses against Wahlberg. This feels different as Wahlberg plays mind games mentioning Cowboy’s daughter in his promo. Dies that affect Abbot?
  • We can’t forget the wildcard in the mix. Will Kiedis can cash in the super contenders’ cup anytime.
  • No matter what, this is going be an absolute barn burner of a match.

Adam’s Predication: Chris Abbot retains and continues his impressive reign of 813 days.

That’s all for now and I’ll see you at the local many bevs, Alcoholic Adam.
