This week on CCW Alive Wrestling, the feud between Marina Tucker and Roma Luchadora continues in tag team action, while the Haitian sensation Lakay faced off with international veteran Ricky Marvin. Tucker came out on the winning end in this tag team matchup and got some licks in on Roma, joining forces with Anna Diaz to take down Roma and Kaitland Alexis. Meanwhile, the Lakay remained undefeated in CCW action, surviving a game fight from the more experienced Marvin.

Marina Tucker & Anna Diaz defeated Roma Luchadora & Kaitland Alexis – Tag Team Match
CCW Women’s Champion Marina Tucker has quite a bit on her plate these days. In addition to a red-hot feud with Roma Luchadora, she also has a huge co-main event at this weekend’s Bash at the Brew 12 where she will defend her championship against one of the fastest-rising stars in wrestling, KiLynn King.

On tonight’s episode, Tucker and Roma were on opposite sides of the ring in tag team action. Tucker teamed up with submission artist Anna Diaz, while Roma partnered with the Hula Hoop Girl Kaitland Alexis. In the end, Tucker and Roma didn’t figure into the outcome, but Tucker and Diaz picked up the victory when Diaz put Alexis to sleep.

Tucker and Diaz aren’t exactly on the best of terms either, so the key in this matchup was going to be their ability to co-exist and work as a team.

Tucker and Diaz worked over Alexis for much of the matchup. In the end, Roma and Tucker couldn’t help but go at it. When the two of them tumbled to the floor, Tucker took advantage putting a beating on the Chilean star. While that was taking place, Diaz saw an opening and locked in her signature sleeper/rear naked and forced Alexis to tap.

While Tucker and Diaz were able to celebrate the victory, what will become of the Roma/Marina battle? Will her issues with Roma keep Tucker from being focused on the task at hand when she defends her title against KiLynn King Saturday at Bash at the Brew? You don’t want to miss that matchup at Bash at the Brew 12 Saturday at Unbranded Brewing Company in Hialeah, Fla. Lakay def. Ricky Marvin
The big man from Haiti, Lakay, returned to CCW action after a successful first tour of Puerto Rico and faced an international star and long-time veteran of the squared circle, Ricky Marvin. Lakay, the former GWA Heavyweight Champion (a title he never lost) has been on an upward ascent since his arrival in Coastal Championship Wrestling. That trajectory continued in a positive direction, as Lakay remained undefeated in CCW with a hard-fought victory over Martin.

Early in the match, it was a battle of Lakay’s power and Marvin’s quickness and cunning. The veteran Marvin identified damaging the right knee of Lakay to negate the big man’s power. Martin worked over the right leg and knee of Lakay with numerous dragon screw leg whips. At one point, Marvin walked the top rope and launched himself into a dropkick that scored on that already sore right leg.

Taking the larger, more powerful man’s base out worked for a while. As did some of Marvin’s underhanded tactics that he’s come to be known for in CCW. But eventually, Lakay powered through the pain and regained control. Lakay displayed some awesome power, clotheslining Marvin and then hoisting him onto his shoulder and launching him across the ring into the turnbuckle for a snake eyes-type maneuver.

The end for Marvin came when he attempted to superkick Lakay in the chest and the big man basically brushed it off. Lakay followed up with a clothesline. Marvin survived that, but angrily rushed at the bigger man. Lakay utilized Marvin’s momentum and caught him in his spinning side slam to pick up the victory.
