*Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2022…men’s tournament begins in 2 weeks…women’s tournament begins in February.

*AJ Styles to the ring…he regrets never spending time in NXT…the passion between the fans & performers makes this place special…Grayson Waller interrupts, busts AJ about his loss to Omos…AJ challenges Waller to a match tonight…Waller says they’ll do it next week in the main event…Waller tries a suckerpunch…back & forth…Waller bails as AJ sets up for the Phenomenal Forearm.

*Pete Dunne promo…is the crowbar attack the best that Tony D’Angelo can do?…bring it next week because this feud isn’t over.

*Persia & Indi cross paths with Amari Miller, Kacy, & Kayden…they have words…Persia is ready to accept another handicap match but Indi tries to enlist Tiffany Stratton…she refuses because she finds them to be “ewww”…instead they’ll team with Wendy Choo, who seems to be living in the PC.

(2)  Riddle & MSK defeat Imperium…Riddle hits the RKO on Barthel for the win (14:09).

*Joe Gacy & Harland backstage with McKenzie…Gacy is looking forward to earning a spot in the Dusty Cup tournament.

*Mandy Rose arrives via helicopter for her title defense.

*Elektra Lopez backstage with McKenzie…Legado comes first, but she’s attracted to success…next week Xyon & Santos go 1-on-1…winner leaves with Elektra.

(3)  Mandy Rose defeats Raquel Gonzalez & Cora Jade…to retain her NXT Women’s Championship…Cora attempts to roll Mandy up, but Mandy counters it into a pinning combo of her own for the win (13:04).

*Boa still can’t control his “powers” & begs them to let him face Solo Sikoa by himself.

*Riddle & MSK says their goodbyes for now in the parking lot…Riddle rides off on his scooter…the Creed Brothers inform MSK that the only way they get another shot at the tag titles is to win the Dusty Cup again…but that won’t happen because the Creed Brothers are in the tournament.

*Andre Chase to the ring…Chase announces that for his heroics last week, the student who saved him will receive the first ever full scholarship…Von Wagner interrupts, he’s the real star of NXT & everything that we are not…Wagner attacks Chase & beats him down…then pulls the student out of the crowd & starts to beat on him until security pulls Wagner off…& eventually walks him out of the building, past Diamond Mine in the trainer’s room, who he has some words for.

*Cameron Grimes video package…in 2022, he stops chasing green & starts chasing gold…twenty-twenty-TO-THE-MOON!

(4)  Bron Breakker defeats Tommaso Ciampa…to become the NEW NXT Champion…Ciampa pulls up some padding to expose the concrete & attempts a hanging DDT from the ring apron to the floor…Breakker reverses out of it & puts Ciampa through the announce table with an Alabama Slam…back inside…Breakker hits a 2^nd Buckle Diving Bulldog & follows with a Steiner Recliner for the submission win (15:27).
