JBL Will Join the WWE Hall of Fame

WWE announced on their FS1 Backstage program that JBL will Join the WWE Hall of Fame 2020 Class. The Hall of Fame inductions will occur on April 2nd during WrestleMania weekend. WWE played a clip of John Cena thanking JBL for his contributions to his career and to the WWE. During Backstage, JBL discussed how both Vader, Ron Simmons, and Eddie Guerrero helped him during his WWE career. He mentioned that JBL wanted to return the favor by giving John Cena a big victory as his career began to wind down.

Bradshaw debuted in 1995 and held the WWE Tag Team Championship, the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and he had a long run as the WWE Champion. His backstage segments with Ron Simmons as part of the APA are among the most memorable of the attitude era. In addition to a long career as an in-ring performer, Bradshaw continued his career with WWE as a commentator and backstage personality. In his Legends with JBL series, he interviewed Bruno Sammartino, Eric Bischoff, Ron Simmons, Stan Hansen, Booker T, Michael PS Hayes, Jimmy Hart, and others.

JBL joins the previously announced Class of 2020 including Batista, Nikki and Brie Bella, and the NWO (Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, and Hulk Hogan).
