                    Results for the July 3rd Smackdown are below.

                    Matt Riddle Interview with Michael Cole

                    • Begins by showing the victory over AJ Styles from two weeks ago.
                    • He’s pretty sure he likes AJ a little more than AJ likes him. He could get used to winning and celebrating with the Smackdown roster.
                    • Riddle tells the story of why he doesn’t wear shoes. It was kind of silly. Something about frost bite. King Corbin came out.
                    • Corbin assigns John Morrison to wrestle Matt Riddle

                    Matt Riddle defeats John Morrison – 15:05

                    • King Corbin started the match on commentary, but after Riddle smacked him with a sandal Corbin moved to ringside.
                    • John Morrison looked great in this match with a top rope Spanish fly and a standing Spanish fly and a bunch of other cool spots.
                    • Riddle eventually won with a cradle pin.

                    Post Match

                    • As Matt Riddle attempted to leave ringside area, AJ Styles attacked him.
                    • Drew Gulak made the save and brawled with Styles on the ramp. His match came next.

                    Backstage with Miz, Morrison, and Corbin

                    • Corbin will make sure that the legs are cut out from under his career.

                    AJ Styles defeats Drew Gulak – 17:06

                    • Drew Gulak holds a victory over AJ Styles from the June 5th episode of Smackdown.
                    • Daniel Bryan is on Zoom for parts of this match.
                    • After 16 minutes, AJ Styles hit the Styles Clash, but he didn’t go for the pin. Styles propped up Drew Gulak and hit him with the Phenomenal Forearm for the pinfall victory.

                    Sasha Banks and Bayley Promo

                    • Bayley says she should be “Bayley Three Brands” and “Sasha Three Shows.”
                    • She goes on to explain how she got a phone call from the Undertaker. He was so embarrassed that WWE did such a big tribute for him when they’re so great. He apparently implored the WWE to do a tribute to her. They roll a video package.
                    • Back in the ring, Sasha and Bayley start thank you chants until Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross come out.
                    • Alexa and Nikki run down some of each others accomplishments
                      • Nikki is apparently 325th in line to the Queen of England
                      • Alexa did something with go-carts.
                    • Bliss says, “You know how ridiculous you sound, right?”
                    • Nikki says that her heart will propel her to become the next Smackdown champion.
                    • After Bayley and Sasha laughed at Nikki, Alexa smacked Bayley. Sasha said that Bayley wouldn’t have a problem giving Nikki a preview by beating Alexa Bliss right now! That was Sasha giving Bayley some of her own medicine.

                    Bayley defeats Alexa Bliss – 05:29

                    • Bayley didn’t really have wrestling gear on for this match.
                    • When Bayley taunted Nikki Cross, Nikki smacked her across the face. That led to a disqualification victory for Bayley.

                    Shinsuke Nakamura defeats Kofi Kingston – 11:49

                    • Lady Ref Jess ejected both Big E and Cesaro.
                    • Kofi went for Trouble in Paradise, but Shinsuke evaded and hit the Kinshasa for the pinfall victory.

                    Next Week

                    • First Match between Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt Shown on Television
                    • Bliss and Cross vs. Banks and Bayley
                    • New Day vs. Nakamura and Cesaro for the Tag Titles

                    Sheamus’ Toast

                    • Sheamus is at his home bar. He talks about how Jeff Hardy got a quick fix with his feel good moment last week.
                    • “May your troubles be less and your blessings be more. . .  DUI’s and Mugshots.”
                    • Jeff asks Sheamus if he thinks it’s funny. Sheamus says Jeff doesn’t have to pretend to be strong.
                    • Hardy takes the drink and pours it over the head of the bartender. He then breaks a bottle over the bartenders head and gives him a swanton bomb.
