Match Announcement

  • Douki, Taichi, ZSJ vs. Ryuske Taguchi, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kota Ibushi

Taiji Ishimori defeats Yoshinobu Kanemaru – 09:17

  • Kanemaru attacked Ishimori from behind as he came through the curtain. Before the match started, Kanemaru tossed Ishimori into the barricade.
  • Ishimori used the bloody cross to secure the pinfall victory.

Tomohiro Ishii defeats Togi Makabe – 13:29

  • At the 11 minute mark, Makabe went for the King Kong Knee Drop. He missed.
  • Ishii eventually picked up the pinfall victory after connecting with a brainbuster suplex.

Taguchi, Ibushi, Tanahashi defeat ZSJ, Taichi, Douki – 13:56

  • This match previews the Taichi and Kota Ibushi match scheduled for 7/1. It may also preview a tag title program between Ibushi/Tanahashi and Sabre/Taichi.
  • Kota Ibushi ran from the back and immediately attacked his opponents. It’s always interesting when someone uses Suzuki Gun’s tactics against them.
  • Suzuki Gun continued their long-term strategy of weakening Tanahashi’s knee.
  • Ultimately, Ryuske Taguchi used Dodon to secure the pinfall victory over Douki.

Post Match

  • Suzuki Gun attacked again. Taichi and ZSJ picked up the tag team titles essentially issuing their challenge.
  • Taguchi helped make the save allowing Tanahashi and Ibushi to stand tall in the ring.

Hiromu Takahashi defeats Toru Yano – 08:55

  • Hiromu came to the ring wearing a hard hat. This is presumably to prevent Yano from shaving his head.
  • As soon as the bell rang, Yano pulled out a pair of hair clippers.
  • Action kept spilling to the outside where Yano had scissors stashed everywhere. Seemed dangerous to keep pulling them out.
  • After taping Takahashi to Tsuji, Yano managed to cut some of Takahashi’s hair.
  • With Tsuji still taped to his ankle, Takahashi taped Yano’s legs together and covered his eyes  before tossing him in the elevator.
  • Takahashi barely beat the referee’s 20 count to get a count out victory.

Kazuchika Okada defeats Yuji Nagata – 20:17

  • Okada played the hits at the 15 minute mark hitting both a dropkick and a tombstone. When he went for a submission, Nagata countered into one of his own.
  • A few minutes later, Okada did cinch in the the submission and the referee had to call for the bell.
