Michael Cole Runs Down the Plans for this Evening

Michael Cole Introduces a Video Package for Rob Gronkowski (WrestleMania Host)

Mojo Rawley Introduces Rob Gronkowski

Gronkowski says he has been watching wrestling since he was in the second grade. At first he sat in the nose bleed section in Buffalo and eventually in front of 80,000 people. Now he’ll be watching in front of no people. He’s ready for anything. Mojo and Gronkowski had a lot of awkward fun before King Corbin came out.

Corbin requested that Rob bend the knee, but Rob says “Nah. I’m good.” Corbin says he better fall in line like everyone else. This brought out Elias who has had a song ready for a couple of weeks. Elias sang his song until Corbin finally had enough. After Mojo, Elias, and Gronk finished picking on Corbin, Gronkowski suggested that Elias and Corbin should have a WrestleMania match.

Daniel Bryan and Drew Gulak defeat Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro

Shinsuke Nakamura and Daniel Bryan start the match as Sami Zayn joins the commentary team. All four wrestlers tagged in and out for the first few moments. Eventually Bryan knocked Shinsuke out of the ring and hit a suicide dive. As Bryan came off the top rope to attempt a cross body, Cesaro caught him and hit a backbreaker before Smackdown went to commercial.

Back from the break, Nakamura and Cesaro had Bryan isolated. After a gut wrench suplex, Cesaro got a near fall on Daniel Bryan. Cesaro then sent Daniel Bryan into the corner following up with a European style uppercut on two different occasions.

After a dropkick out of the corner, Daniel Bryan finally got the tag to Drew Gulak. Immediately upon entering, Gulak hit a dropkick and a German suplex on Shinsuke Nakamura. Shinsuke surprised Gulak with a spinning heal kick and then the Artist Collective started picking Gulak a part.

After catching Cesaro with a back elbow, Gulak got a tag to Daniel Bryan. Gulak held Cesaro in position for Daniel Bryan to come off the top rope with a sunset flip for the pinfall victory.

Michale Cole Announced that WWE would air WrestleMania 30 this Sunday on ESPN

Backstage with Drew Gulak and Daniel Bryan

Gulak and Bryan were stretching in the back, and Sami Zayn wants to know when Bryan will start listening to the Intercontinental Champion instead of a nobody like Drew Gulak. Daniel Bryan says how about Sami puts his title on the line against him at WrestleMania. Zayn says if Gulak can defeat Nakamura next week, the Sami will agree to the title match at WrestleMania.

Michael Cole Introduces Paige who is on Skype

Bayley and Sasha came out all annoyed that Paige was on Skype. Paige says its bad enough that they run down the women’s locker room, but not the Women’s Evolution. Bayley says she has beaten everyone past, present, and future. Paige is announcing Bayley’s title match for WrestleMania. Paige says she’ll be defending her title against Lacey Evans, Dana Brooke, Tamina, and Naomi. Sasha called Paige a bitch, and then Paige announced that Bayley’s final opponent will be Sasha Banks.

The Dirt Sheet with Miz and Morrison

Miz feels like they’re missing something because they don’t have challengers for WrestleMania. They decide to ask the fans. They go to a pre-taped clip of Miz and Morrison dressed up as all the different tag teams. Heavy Machinery’s music came on and they came out for their match.

Miz and Morrison defeat Heavy Machinery

Miz and Otis begin the match. As Miz attempted to do a side headlock takeover, Otis blocked and slammed him to the mat. Miz tagged into Morrison who attempted to punch and kick Otis. The strikes had no effect on Otis. Heavy Machinery hit a pass off delayed vertical suplex. Tucker then hit a big hip toss on Miz and Otis him with a shoulder tackle.

Morrison shouted “they’re bigger than we thought, but not smarter.” Heavy Machinery began hitting a number of tandem maneuvers culminating with Tucker hitting a somersault senton from the apron to the floor. As Tucker attempted to hit the ropes, Morrison pulled the top rope down for a low bridge. This shifted the advantage back to Miz and Morrison who isolated Tucker for the next part of the match.

Just as Tucker was about to make a tag to Otis, Dolph Ziggler’s music hit and The Miz and Morrison attacked Otis to prevent the tag. Dolph Ziggler joined Michael Cole on commentary as Smackdown went to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Miz and Morrison continued to have the advantage over Tucker. When Miz and Morrison went for a double suplex, Tucker managed to reverse it and get the tag to Otis. After Otis sandwiched both men in the corner, he went for the caterpillar when Dolph Ziggler got on the microphone. Doplph put pictures off him and Mandy on the screen. Otis lost it, and he went after Dolph. Ziggler managed to get away, but Miz and Morrison felt the wrath of Otis. Unable to help himself, Otis went after Miz and Morrison with a steel chair. This caused a disqualification.

This craziness set up a big match for Otis at WrestleMania. Whether that is a match for the tag team championship or a match with Dolph Ziggler is to be determined.

Both men immediately tossed their chairs out of the ring. Cole asked who Goldberg thought would answer his “Who’s Next?” Challenge. Goldberg said, “I hoped for Roman, but I didn’t think he had the balls.” Roman answered by saying all of the legends want to face Roman Reigns, and he always beats them. Bill Goldberg will be no different. Reigns says Goldberg is holding a title he never earned.
