Show Opens with a Look Back at the First Smackdown

• It’s a throw back edition of Smackdown.
• They show a couple highlights from the main event: HHH v. The Rock.

Roman Reigns Comes Out

• Paul Heyman says he will eulogize the career of Daniel Bryan with a 10 bell salute. Paul says “ding” 10 times. Very obnoxious.
• The Thunderdome chants “You Suck”
• “If Daniel Bryan wanted to be on Smackdown, he should have just acknowledged Roman.”
• Roman says that since Bryan is gone, we have replaced him with someone who will most certainly acknowledge me.
• Out comes Jimmy Uso.
• Once they’re done celebrating, Cesaro comes out. Cesaro says you can never replace Daniel Bryan. Rollins attacks Cesaro from behind. Officials separate them.
• Teddy Long comes out. If Cesaro wins tonight, then Cesaro will get his match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania Backlash.

Cesaro defeats Seth Rollins – 12:41 – If Cesaro Wins, he’ll face Roman at WrestleMania Backlash

• The Usos are both at ringside.
• Seth Rollins shoved Jey Uso because he didn’t want any help from Jimmy and Jey. Jimmy hit Rollins with a super kick.
• Cesaro tossed Rollins back in the ring, hit the neutralizer, and got the pinfall victory.

Seth Rollins Talks with Roman Reigns

• Reigns says that my cousin screwed you over, but you losing to Cesaro screwed me over.
• Roman says he’ll deal with his family.

Teddy Long and Sonya Deville Backstage

• Sami Zayn comes by. It’s so great to see someone outside of the establishment in a position of authority.
• Zayn wants a match for the Intercontinental Championship.
• Teddy Long makes a 10 Man Tag Match: Crews, Zayn, Gable, Otis, King Booker v. Street Profits, Big E, Kevin Owens, and Shinsuke Nakamura

Reigns Talks to Jimmy Uso

• You were back for 1 hour . . . and now I have to clean up your mess.
• Jimmy says don’t talk to me like my brother Jey, and I’m not anyone’s bitch.

Carmella defeats Ruby Riott – 02:18

• Carmella wins with a her leg lock choke.

Smackdown Highlights

• Austin and Booker T fight in a grocery store.
• Edge teams with Hulk Hogan
• Brock Lesnar suplexing Big Show and the ring explodes.
• The debut of John Cena
• Vince McMahon takes a rid in Eddie Guerrero’s car

Bayley Comes to the Ring

• Bayley comes out to pay tribute to the women’s champions of the past.
• Alundra Blayze, Jacqueline, Lita, Trish Stratus, Ivory, Beth Phoenix, Molly Holly, Bianca Belair
• If Bianca isn’t careful, she’ll end up like all those other women: not on Bayley’s level.
• Bianca comes to the ring. Belair says thank you for your concern, but maybe Bayley should worry about herself.
• Bayley just laughs at Bianca. Bayley tries to go after Bianca, but Bianca gets the best of Bayley for a few seconds. The tide shifts when Bayley grabs Bianca by the earring.

Jimmy and Jey Uso

• Jimmy says whatever Jey does benefits Roman. Jimmy says imagine if Roman was Universal Champion and we were tag team champions.

WrestleMania Backlash Match

• Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode v. Rey and Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio defeats Dolph Ziggler – 02:16

• The match was supposed to be Rey Mysterio v. Dolph Ziggler, but Ziggler came to the ring with a microphone. Ziggler says that Dominik doesn’t belong . .. so Dominik takes the match instead.
• Mysterio wins with an inside cradle

Kayla Braxton with Reginald and the Tag Champs

• Reggie will have a match with Tamina because Tamina left him with a sour taste in his mouth.

Next Week

• Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler v. Natalya and Tamina – Tag Team Championship Match

Tamina defeats Reginald – 02:06

• Nia and Shayna get involved to cause a DQ. They take down Tamina and Natalya. Shayna stomps on Tamina’s arm and Nia gave Tamina a Samoan Drop into the barricade.

Alpha Academy, Crews, Zayn, Corbin defeat Street Profits, Nakamura, Owens, Big E – 10:44

• Off a blind tag, King Corbin hit Shinsuke Nakamura with the End of Days.

Roman Tells Jey that We’re About to Find Out Where Jimmy Stands

• Roman goes to the ring. As Roman was speaking, Jimmy Uso interrupted by coming to the ring.
• Jimmy brings up the “I Quit” match where Roman held Jimmy in a guillotine until Jey said “I Quit.”
• Roman seems flabbergasted that Jimmy is stuck in the past. Reigns tells Jimmy to fall in line and acknowledge me or go home.
• Jimmy goes to leave, Jey runs after Jimmy, Cesaro jumps Roman from behind.
• Even though the Usos try to make a save, Cesaro takes all three out.
